Pay Rate & Incentives

Up to $16.50 per hour. As an employee of ISS you may also be eligible for medical and dental benefits. Paid Federal Holidays after 750 hours for all full time employees. Plus you get a Bi-Weekly Essential Worker Bonus of 125.00 for full-time employees.

Available Shift Schedules

Standard 40 hour Full-Time Shifts:

Day shift= Mon to Fri 7am - 3pm

Afternoon Shift = Mon to Fri 3 - 11pm

Night Shift = Sun to Thurs 11pm-7am

Shift differential is available for afternoon and night shift.

Overtime 40+ hours is paid at time in a half and double time pay rates.

Flexible Part - Time Weekend Shifts:

Day shift= Sat & Sun 7am - 3pm

Afternoon Shift = Sat & Sun 3 - 11pm

Night Shift = Fri & Sat 11pm-7am

Job Duration

ISS places qualified candidates to work on assignments at this client on a temp-to-hire basis. Assignments vary in length. Conversion to become a company team member is possible after 300 hours.

General Summary

The Line Associate performs hand assembly functions by placing pharmaceutical medication in containers for shipment according to quantity and quality as specified by pharmaceutical regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Place packaged pharmaceutical material into container working from a machine, conveyor, or stationary table.

-Inspect units for quality as they are packaged.

-May use a sorting machine, hand-sorting device or operate a toggle machine.

-May code stamp packages, place labels on shippers, assemble container displays, and place inserts into containers as required.

-May be required to count material, re-work returned material or shell rejected material.

-Other duties may be assigned.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements

-Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable English words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.

-Ability to print and speak English .

-Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

-Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.

-Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Dress Code

Dress Code is ALL WHITE (White Shirt and White Pants (ex: t-shirts, pants, sweatpants, joggers, legging, jeans, scrubs)

Footwear= comfortable clean and can be any color

No rips or tears in clothing and no shorts

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Education/Experience

-High School Diploma or GED required
