QA Automation Engineer out of Nashville, TN.

QA Automation Engineer

Role Description: Experience with test automation creation and maintenance, automated regression testing, and performance testingWork closely with the Agile Team to develop comprehensive automated test suitesCreate readable and maintainable high-performance automation scripts & scenarios.Participate in regression testing upon release candidates, finding new scenarios requiring coverage, submit defects and add to existing test suites.

Responsibilities: Evaluate and able to suggest and select regression/automation testing tools and systemsEstablish an automated testing framework and install auto-testing toolsDevelop a plan to convert manual regression tests to automated testsGenerate test documentation for projects and tasks completedUse defined standards and best practices for testing of applicationsDesign, build, test, and deploy effective test automation solutionsDefine automation coding and source code management standardsMaintain and enhance the suite of End-to-End automated tests

Requirements:5+ years' experience in software development, manual and regression automation testing 5+ years experience in User Acceptance, System and/or Regression Testing.5+ years experience writing system test cases/scripts, executing test scripts, etc.3+ years experience in automated regression tests using commercial (e.g. Quick Test Pro, Robot, Test Complete) or open source test tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Appium).2+ years practical experience working in a continuous integration or continuous delivery environment.Knowledge of multiple software development methodologies particularly Agile.

Education:BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical degree

Desired Skills and Abilities: Good analytical, oral communication and written documentation skills.Strong follow-through skills.The ability to work independently and in team environments.The ability to follow established testing procedures.Good attention to detail.The ability to analyze system requirements to develop test plans.The ability to learn new systems quicklyExperience working with distributed teams in an agile environmentExperience with web services and APIs testing using API testing frameworks (e.g. Rest Assured, JMeter, SOAP- UI, Postman)Solid experience with automation frameworks/tools (e.g. Selenium, QTP)

Nice to haves: Proficient in Docker, AKS, Kubernetes + Understand Infrastructure as a code with working knowledge of Terraform/Ansible.Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools (e.g. Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Bamboo, Gradle/Maven, JFrog Artifactory)Skilled in Programming Concepts including knowledge in Java, Dot net, Python, C # We look forward to reviewing your profile.
