Location: Del City, OK Description: Our client is currently seeking a Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer 3 OKC Electronic Products Group is seeking experienced electrical circuit design engineers. The candidate will work as part of team and become a major contributor to growing our next generation of engineers. This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • In this role you will provide engineering and technical decisions for Military Aircraft, Military Derivative Aircraft, Commercial Aircraft and other diverse projects.
  • Main area of focus will be to analyze customer and system requirements to develop architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products.
  • Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements in DOORS
  • Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
  • Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
  • Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software
  • Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs Reviews supplier and partner qualification data LRU Design/Analysis/Layout/Manufacturing COTS design/integration
  • Performs Trade Studies/Modeling (reliability and thermal) Cross-functional coordination and integration
  • Develops Design Requirements and Plans
  • Provides Engineering Support to Supplier Management Procurement Activities
  • Performs Engineering Investigations and Troubleshooting Efforts
  • Develops and perform Acceptance Test Procedures and Environment Stress and Screening Develops automated test equipment to support aircraft test requirements
  • Other job responsibilities may include Leads analysis of customer and system requirements and development of architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products Leads development of high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications
  • Leads reviews of testing and analysis activity to assure compliance to requirements
  • Identifies, tracks and statuses technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements
  • Leads activities in support of Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services
  • Coordinates engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product
  • Plans research projects to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
  • Required 5 or more years of experience in Electrical Engineering
  • 1.5 or more years of experience with PSpice or LTSpice
  • 1.5 or more years of experience with DxDesigner
  • 1 or more years of experience with DOORS Requirements Management Tool
  • 1 or more years of experience with Capital Logic
  • 1 or more years of experience with MIL-STD-810
  • 1 or more years of experience with Mentor tools Suite or equivalent (schematic entry, layout, routing, SI, power analysis)
  • This position requires that you work out of Oklahoma City, OK
  • Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time as required
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience with embedded test techniques, design for test, design margin analysis, and/or design for manufacturing
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance
  • Previous experience in the defense or aerospace industry
  • Previous experience with DO-160
  • Previous experience in Electrical Design Previous experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and/or Labview
  • Previous experience with Relays and Switches Circuit design, including some of the following:
  • Embedded processors High end FPGAs, SOC FPGAs, state-of-the-art memory devices Standard communications and storage protocols Low power FPGAs, CPLDs Power sequencing, monitoring, management
  • Previous experience with Power distribution design
  • Previous experience with system and circuit level fault isolation
  • Previous experience with box level and card level test planning and procedures
  • Previous experience with developing and coordinating supplier design requirements
