The incumbent in this position will focus on and develop GBD IT strategy, blueprints, roadmaps, and solutions spanning Digital domains (Digital, Platform Modernization, Cloud, and Automation) for the digital transformation of GBD IT. In addition, focus on strategic planning, execution, and value creation in support of the government business will be prominent. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Review digital strategies, evaluate current capabilities, opportunity areas, and initiatives.
- Create and drive innovative data, systems, and cloud-based solutions and capabilities that meet government business requirements(e.g. Medicare, Medicaid, Federal).
- Identify and define success measures, goals, performance monitoring for digital solutions.
- Provide technical thought leadership and implementation oversight based on industry trends and drive relevant innovations to scale digital capabilities and solutions.
- Responsible for connecting together the needs of all stakeholders (customers, business partners, technology enablers) and GBD strategic priorities to generate a digital solutions strategy to drive market growth and GBD.
- Support digital investment and portfolio management for ongoing initiatives.
- Plans and executes financial objectives and has ongoing budget accountability.
- Assemble teams with the expertise to drive value through Agile development patterns.
- Accountable for providing vision and direction to a team of associates based on the strategy and vision.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates the performance of direct reports.
- Has a technology competency that supports the accelerated development and delivery of solutions
- Budget and/or P&L experience
- Progressive experience building and integrating digital roadmaps
- Design and execution experience with governance processes
