Cloud Engineer - AWS, Kernel, EHS - Environment, Health & Safety - Chicago, IL 29242

We have an immediate opportunity for a AWS Cloud Engineer (Kernel/EHS) at Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate should have in overall 8-10 Years of experience in AWS Cloud Engineer with strong experience hands on experience in Kernel or EHS (Environment, Health & Safety). Must have experience to deploy multi-tier architecture solution using the blueprints from the Platform and App Architects in AWS. Must be able to establish network connectivity, firewall rules, load balancers, WAF, storage, RDS for Postgres, EKS clusters, ECR, API gateway, CI/CD, and other platform services. Must be able to create deployment pipelines for provisioning AWS services. Must be able to deploy DICOM services for Postgres, Redis, storage, etc. Must be able to troubleshoot issues as it relates to platform and support application and database teams. Must have hands on experience with automation and management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, CFTs, Spectro Cloud). Must have hands on experience with migration to public cloud. Must have hands on experience with deploying and managing network, load balancers, firewall rules, WAF, storage, RDS, authentication and monitoring tools in public cloud. Must have hands on experience with shell scripting. Must have knowledge of Security as it relates to Cloud Environments including the Shared Security Model. The ideal candidate should have experience in AWS, Kernel, EHS, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, CFTs, Spectro Cloud, Postgres, Redis, network, load balancers, firewall and Shell Scripting.
