his is a Full-time position with a Series B Biotech start-up in Redwood City, Ca that provides clinicians insights in order to make crucial treatment decisions, saving the lives of their patients. They use data analysis sequencing to find pathogens from a single sample of blood, as early as one day. You will be designing, testing and developing full-stack solutions within a alongside scientific and medical teams. This role uses some of the most advanced technologies including back-end coding in Scala and Java in an AWS environment. Required Skills & Experience
- BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 8-10 years of experience
- Strong Scala experience
- Testing proficiency
- Knowledge of microservice architecture
- Prior experience working in a cloud environment
- Familiarity with multi-threading and concurrency
- Prior experience in the Health Space
- Ability to collaborate with a cross-functional team
