Installer Surveillance Access Control

Durant Oklahoma

CIT is seeking:

Workers to install surveillance cameras, access control systems components, to start work immediately.

Skills and qualifications needed include the following:

Measure, cut, splice, connect, and install wire and cable

Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, replace, or adjust components using hand tools and test equipment

Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including adjustment and repairs

Assemble, disassemble, install video/data communication lines and hardware, computer systems, security/access control, and surveillance systems using hand and power tools

Climb ladders, operate scissor/boom lifts, construct camera poles/roof mounts, and/or reinforcements

Clean and maintain tools, test equipment, and motor vehicles

Complete log books, expense vouchers, and verbal/written status reports as directed

Previous experience in low voltage CCTV, security installation, maintenance, or related technology fields

Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to produce technical reports

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently and as part of a team

Travel outside of the Durant area will be required for some projects

Installation / Termination of Twisted Pair (Cat5 / Cat6 required)

Understanding of structured wiring

Must hold a valid driver's license, have a good driving record, and must be able to pass criminal background check, so we can register you for a Texas PSB Alarm System / Access Control Installer License

Knowledge of: Low Voltage Electronics, CCTV, PoE Switches, Networking IP Addresses, IP Video

This job involves 75% travel including Oklahoma areas.

If you cannot travel do not apply for this job. Must be able to pass background checks and random drug tests. Having a valid and current Oklahoma technicians license is preferable and will allow us to offer a higher starting wage.

Compensation: $65,000.00 Salary plus bonus Company credit card and Van.

Must hav excellent driving record.
