Data Center Engineer III

Data Center Engineer III - New Castle Delaware Under supervision and direction of the Data Center Operations Manager and/or lead engineers, rack/ cable servers, network and storage gear, and perform remedial maintenance in a critical Data Center environment. An Engineer III must have at least five years experience in installation and maintenance of Data Center systems as well as troubleshooting experience. His/her background must include Ethernet (IEEE Standard 802.3) Local Area Networks (LAN), Enterprise Network topology, and fiber optic systems. Knowledge of IP sub-netting and basic networking is also required. • Minimum 5-7 years IT and Data Center Operations experience. • BICSI certification or equivalent work experience. • A+ certification or equivalent work experience. • Ability to lift 50 LBS and work under raised floor. • Experience with MS Office, and ticketing systems (preferably Service Now). • Systems and/or Network Administration skills.
