Business Analyst - Data/RPA

About the role: As a Business Analyst, at TQL your primary objective is to assist our internal business partners by defining their needs and recommending solutions. You will be responsible for discovering, producing, and analyzing information from a variety of sources, tools, processes, and documentation. You will collaborate with developers, stakeholders, system architects, and various subject experts to gather requirements and translate into user stories for our scrum teams. What's in it for you:

• Consult with end users across all business domains to understand their data needs and help guide towards existing datasets/visualizations or build work items for the data development teams
• Translate the story end users tell into detailed technical work items within Jira and/or Azure DevOps
• Define success criteria to be used for Quality Assurance, ensuring a great customer experience
• Build and maintain FAQs, how-to documentation, and Data Catalogs
• Work closely with our Program Managers and Product Owners to document data needs of new features to existing applications
• These data needs will encompass Data Science, Business Intelligence, Data Operations, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Process Automation, and Database Administration

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Knowledge of information technology required
• 1-3 years of professional experience analyzing and defining business needs and/or professional IT experience (internships/co-ops qualify)
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with a variety of disciplines, diverse groups of people, and at all levels of the organization
• Must be able to simplify the complex nature of IT projects to meet your audience's level of understanding
• Exposure to PowerBI.com, or other visualization tools
• Data Mart and Data Warehouse exposure is desired
• Basic understanding of databases, database design, and SQL
• Strong influence and collaboration skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
