SQL Integration Specialist

Description Strategically design and implement integration solutions including integration with databases and data warehouses. The Integration Specialist is also responsible for ensuring high levels of data availability through support functions and in-depth testing. The Business Intelligence Specialist will also be responsible for designing, writing, and supporting various data connectors/manipulators including APIs, system data extracts, FTP transactions, and SSIS packages. This role will also be responsible for assisting in supporting product configurations, writing reports, and modifying code to existing and new enterprise system applications. Noted systems of support include, but are not limited to, Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and Oracle Cloud financial system.Requirements:• Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.• Working technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring, and supporting database servers, including Microsoft SQL Server (2008 R2, 2012, 2014, 2016)• Working experience in Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)• Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques.• Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices. • Knowledge of business analytic software such as Tableau & Microsoft'Microsoft Power BI a plus. • Comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience, with full knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling.• Experience with tier-one applications, databases, and data warehouses.• Experience with Python or other programming languages.• Strong ability to analyze user requirements provided by the business and data analyst• DBA experience a plus• Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
