The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
- Designing 99% of the time
- Designing custom machinery
- Designing alternative and/or replacement parts for existing equipment
- Aiding in the development of the generation of controls from the ground floor
- Creating, reading and interpreting PLC programs
- Participating in the design of electrical systems and control systems
- Verifying customer specifications are met in the designs produced
- Verifying designs meet codes, regulations and best practices
- Working with purchasing for part availability and cost
- An electrical engineering degree
- Two or more years of electrical engineering experience
- Two or more years of experience programming electrical controls
- Familiarity with current electrical engineering trends
- An innovative mindset
- A solid work history
- A or possess a
- A residence within 45 minutes
