Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a cleared DevOps Engineer to support a national security missions program that focuses on supporting cloud integration efforts. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for migrating common ground systems applications into the cloud (AWS). Work will be conducted in a lab environment and vessels within a close radius of the lab site. MUST HOLD AN ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE AT MINIMUM Location: San Diego, CA (Point Loma) - Telework is possible in certain circumstancesTravel: NoneResponsibilities:
- Collect requirements for prioritized Distributed Common Ground Systems applications and develop an approach to implement integration efforts into the cloud environment
- Set up CI/CD pipelines for enforcing automation efforts in building, testing, and application deployments (Ansible/Jenkins)
- Support containerization and orchestration efforts ("Docker/Kubernetes")
- Provide inputs to documentation including SIG (Software Integration Guide), SVD (Software Version Descriptions), and product specifications
- Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance with the ability and willingness to obtain a Top Secret/SCI
- Must have a strong Linux RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and CentOS background
- Bachelors' degree with 3+ years of cloud/Linux experience or 5+ years of related experience
- Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, or an equivalent
- Basic proficiency with Python and Bash
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies/process (Docker or Kubernetes)
- Experience with AWS Cloud environments
- Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000
