Job Number: R0115515 Mobile Integration Oversight EngineerKey Role: Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as Mobile Integration Oversight Integration Engineer. Support ongoing operations and monitoring of a subset of interfaces, hardware, and other infrastructure concerns supporting OEHRM implementations using CareAware, Zebra, Powerchart Touch. Serve as a technical expert addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics, and multiple platforms related to medical devices and systems in conjunction with the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Coordinate between interfaces, infrastructure areas, and environments and conduct LAN and WAN configuration. Coordinate across joint VA and DoD entities to conduct technical analysis in support of incident management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) After Action Review (AAR) activities. Interface with multiple Help Desk teams to determine what has happened, review trends and produce insights on potential areas of concern by identifying potential technical risks to large scale system to system interface efforts. Assess, validate, and optimize infrastructure end-to-end systems and architecture. Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in introducing new hardware or software into a new or existing environment while minimizing disruption and mitigating risks
  • Ability to create strategies and plans for integration of multiple IT systems and subsystems into an operational unit, ensuring full functional and performance capabilities are retained
  • Ability to coordinate with development and user teams to assess risks, goals and needs and ensure that all are adequately addressed
  • HS diploma or GED and 23+ years of experience with working in a professional environment or BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Information Systems, Physics, or IT and 15+ years of experience with working in a professional environment
Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience in the VA
  • Experience with implementing Electronic Health Records
