Job Number: R0124008 Security EngineerThe Challenge:You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your Cyber engineering skills to design and build secure systems for the customer? We're looking for an engineer who can create solutions for our customer that will stand up to even the most advanced Cyber threats.As a security engineer on our project, you'll provide Cybersecurity engineering services to support the client's mission. You'll coordinate work with teams to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer's IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you'll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You'll apply expertise in SIEM engineering to requirements analysis and allocation, architecture analysis and design, technology assessment, and metrics development, and provide operational support, including tool testing in an operational environment and coordinating and resolving issues with vendors and other appropriate personnel. You'll develop and apply cloud best practices and be the subject matter expert for all security related items for cloud instances. Your technical expertise will be vital as you help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices. You'll be able to broaden your skillset while building peace of mind in a critical infrastructure. You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience implementing and maintaining hybrid and multi-cloud environments on variety of platforms, including AWS, Azure, and VMware NSX
  • 2+ years of experience administrating or engineering network, system, or security infrastructure
  • 2+ years of experience with SOC operations, alert analysis, or incident response
  • Experience in working and migrating to cloud, multi-cloud, and hybrid cloud security and governance tools
  • Experience developing a comprehensive SIEM and Security Analytics architecture to support real-time security monitoring operations
  • Experience with SIEM tools, including IBM QRadar
  • Experience building and implementing reporting and visualizations to inform the client and security managers of trends found within the environment
  • Experience administering security appliances, including email security appliances, NAC controls, and EDR
  • Experience triaging alerts and enacting the incident response process when necessary
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with ForeScout CounterACT, FireEye security appliances, and Microsoft Defender ATP
  • Experience with Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting
  • Experience with supporting DevSecOps model and pipeline and working with developers and SREs to address vulnerabilities early in the development life cycle
  • Experience with working through diverse technical Cybersecurity aspects
  • Experience deploying and managing Windows and RHEL servers
  • Ability to excel in face-to-face client interaction during project execution
  • Ability to contribute to the identification and implementation of security solutions
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including providing substantive narrative input on client deliverables, reports, proposals, and marketing content
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, or Information Technology preferred; Master's degree a plus
  • AWS or Azure Certifications

Compensation:The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $105,000.00 to $120,000.00.
