The Territory Account Manager (Field Sales) SLEDrole

TheTerritoryAccount Manager is responsible for driving sales ofQlikproducts withinthe commercial market through a combination of direct sales engagement and by leveraging the resources and expertise of Qlik’s community.

TheTerritory Account Manager -SLEDis responsible fordriving sales of Qlik products within theState, Local, Education sectorthrough a combination of direct sales engagement and by leveraging the resources and expertise of Qlik’s community.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the salesprocess including prospecting, lead management, qualification, product demonstrations, evaluation, close and customer retention.In addition to direct involvement in new sales opportunities, you will also work closely with Qlik inside sales to manage higher the volume, transactional portion of the business

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring that a strong pipeline is built and managed throughout the region
  • Meeting or exceeding revenue targets as directed by corporate initiatives
  • Independently identifying and acquiring new business opportunities withinthe SLED sectorcoupled with up selling to existing customer base
  • Collaborate with Qlik’spartners to build,manageand close new opportunities
  • Interact with all levels ofSLED
  • Managing contract negotiations to closure
  • Building up a sustainable pipeline
  • Manage the sales-cycle including lead generation, qualification and otherdeliverables for closing deals while consistently delivering on sales goals
  • Understand accounts’ needs and effectively communicate how Qlik will meet thoseneeds while ensuring 100% satisfaction with all customers
  • Participation in industry or regionally focused field marketing events

Qualifications

To be considered for the role you must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experienceselling Data Integration/Analytics intothe Data Integration, Big Data and Business Intelligence markets.
  • Knowledge of Data Warehousing/Data Lake, Database and/or Business Intelligence software products and concepts.
  • At least 6 years of successful SLEDexperienceselling enterprise software - average deal sizes in the $250Kto $2.0M range
  • Successful track record as a salesperson that consistently delivers or exceeds quota.
  • Experience managing and closing large, complex sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a strong pipeline and drive territory development though both Direct and Partner channels.
  • Experience in both a start-ups and large organizations is an advantage.
  • Solidnetwork of executiverelationships within SLEDAgencies and Distributor, Reseller and System Integrator channels.
  • Position requires overnighttravel as needed (estimated 30%-35% range).
  • Travel is currently limited due to Covid19
