Collections Specialist

This short term temporary Collections Specialist position is available in the Addison, Texas area.Your responsibilities in this role

Update customer files to ensure data integrity

Yield to all Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act rules and regulations

Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. written correspondence, phone contact, skip-tracing, and making arrangements for payment

Process bankruptcy filings in the correct manner when received

Attend to inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence

Catalog all customer payments to the correct reports

Ensure the processing of payments

Direct all billing and reporting activities in accordance to deadlines

Act as a company representative in upholding quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries

Ability to survey and make decisions regarding customer accounts

Commercial collections experience is required

5+ years of prior high volume collections experience

Prior experience using accounting software

AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
