Job DetailsResponsibilitiesWork with the CTO and VPE to set direction, priorities, and mission for the Platform TeamWork with your team to set goals and meet themBuild and mentor a team of diverse engineersArchitect, develop, deploy and maintain highly available distributed platform services and maintain services for storing and querying large amounts of data efficiently.Completely understand and drive the improvement of our servers at all levels - everything from the application layer to bare(or virtualized) metalManeuver through and analyze our databases, file systems, networking stack, and kernel issuesEducation & Experience10 years or more experience in software design and development with a related degree. At least 7 years of experience leading multiple engineering teams to deliver market-leading commercial products. At least 5 years of demonstrated experience developing use-case requirements and translating them into product specifications.
