The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting the Publish Application and related application infrastructure and environment
  • Adhering to coding standards and maintaining well-structured, maintainable, and easy to understand code
  • Maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting UI, API, business and data layer components
  • Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Conducting periodic reviews to ensure high code quality and proper design patterns are being followed
  • Adhering to Agile SDLC methodology
  • Continuously testing application to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for any application related troubleshooting and issues, as they arise and resolve them in a timely manner while keeping stakeholders informed

Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)Strong knowledge of:
  • microservices architecture
  • .net core and .NET framework 4.x
  • writing RESTful web services using Web API
  • Object-oriented programming
Experience with:
  • Angular 2+ (preferably angular 8 and above)
  • REST clients such as Postman
  • ORM tools such as Entity Framework, Dapper, or other similar tools
  • Application, server-level and database security frameworks and best practices including xss, data encryption, API security, single sign-on and other security modules
  • HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, or any other scripting libraries
  • Working in scrum development environment
Familiarity with Dependency Injection patternExperience writing SQL for Microsoft SQL ServerExcellent troubleshooting skills for both .NET and SQL codeExperience developing and deploying in cloud environments, preferably Azure PaaS
