.Role: Solution Architect Location: Eagan, MN or remote Duration: 5/27/2022Position Overview: Daily Responsibilities/Job Description:

  • Lead creation of conceptual and logical specifications for all layers of solution (people, process, technology and information) through collaboration with business, enterprise, application, security and infrastructure architects
  • Designs architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces
  • Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for IT architectures, and profiles of standards as they apply to the implementation and specific to the solution for the platform, integration with other systems and the external interfaces
  • Ensures that the common operating environment is compliant. Analytically and systematically evaluates problems of work flows, organization and planning and develops appropriate corrective action
  • Responsible for collaborating with enterprise architecture to develop enterprise artifacts for reuse by subsequent projects
Interaction level with Management/Team Members: Yes. It important to interact with IT and business management about the initiatives assigned. High interaction and collaboration with Team Members is a must.Skills Overview: Qualifications/years of experience:
  • 10+ years of work experience in IT, including 5 years in software development or application architecture
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) and/or Health Care domain
  • Experience with broad technology delivery, including custom development using various development languages; Event Driven Architecture and Mesh Architecture
  • Experience with driving technical planning and solutions for software portfolio, including authoring or managing the development of software designs, managing vendor evaluations, and justifying technical recommendations
  • Experience with providing technical leadership, mentoring on software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads and clients
  • Expert collaborator with business and technical colleagues, adept at building rapport
  • Experience working with Claims Adjudication
  • Experience working with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Must Haves:
  • 5+ years of service-oriented solution architecture experience working Applications, Data, Services and API initiatives
  • Experience defining a variety of solution types, such as new system builds, legacy enhancements, build vs. buy analysis, integrating COTS software packages, Software as a Service or Platform as a Service as components of the solution
  • Ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments; Direct experience with Agile Lean Architecture

    • Experience as a Solution Architecture, Application Architecture and Architecture Patterns
