Trading Systems Developer

The Denzel Group has been chosen to work with a strong venture backed fintech company on their open Exchange Developer opening. Our client is a growing company in the Camden NJ area that offers a great work environment, competitive salary, unlimited vacation, equity options and 100% remote capabilities.Reporting to the Exchange Technology Lead, the Trading Systems Developer will play a major role in implementing strategic and tactical goals as well as contribute to development and upkeep of the Exchange services. They will be responsible for broadening skill inventory of the team to build, enhance, and maintain the SLA of the most critical core component of our business offerings, the sport gaming exchange.

• Proficiency in programming in one or more of the following object-oriented languages: Kotlin, Java, and/or C
• Experience in one or more of the following scripting languages: Python, Perl, and/or shell (bsh or bash)
• Thorough knowledge of TCP and UDP protocol, especially multicasting
• Tool experiences in git (GitHub), Jenkins, and Cucumber/Gherkin, and other CI/CD tools
• Experience with messaging middleware; Kafka will be a big plus
• Hand-on work with of the major SQL databases is a big plus
• Experience in a role that supports trading, portfolio management, exchange, or a
• fintech and the ability to verbalize the domain knowledge gained a plus
