Overview Our direct end client is looking for an
Automated Test Engineer to support a U.S. Homeland Security program. This ten-year Federal project is located in Annapolis Junction, MD, work is being performed REMOTELY until COVID restrictions are lifted. Feel good about your work, as your team looks to ensure the safety of flights in the United States with passenger screening. As a member of an Agile development team, you will be responsible for developing automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements. Also, you will work with team members to drive test automation techniques. Per our Federal Government contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens, eligible to receive a Secret Clearance. Preference is given to those already possessing an Active or Interim Secret Clearance. Per the President's Executive Order 14042 passed in September 2021, all Federal contractors and subcontractors providing services to the government are required to have full COVID-19 vaccinations (whether onsite or remote), except in limited circumstances where a worker receives an approved medical or religious accommodation. Responsibilities- Work closely with developers, shared services team, and product manager
- Run test validations at various levels, including DB validation, rules validation, logging validation, reporting validations, and UI validation
- Assist with Scrum Team estimation of stories and sizing of effort to include the representation of the test automation and engagement with Continuous Integration (CI) required
- Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organizations' Agile project lifecycle
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of hands-on automated test coding experience using Java, C, or C#
- Previous experience is required with the following:
- Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD)
- Behavior Driven Development (Cucumber)
- Java including frameworks such as Spring and Springboot
- Selenium, Serenity, Cucumber
- Experience with the following:
- Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases
- REST/SOAP Webservices and APIs
- SQL
- Per our Federal Government contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens, eligible to receive a Secret Clearance
- Hands-on experience in Open Source Automated Test Frameworks (e.g., Serenity, Selenium, Cucumber)
- Experience using Java development tools (e.g., Eclipse, Junit, and Git)
- Experience in a large-scale Federal IT Program
- Experience with SAFe Agile delivery framework
- Active Secret Clearance
