your life's best work.(sm) The Talend software engineer for large-scale data integration works across multiple departments, vendors, and clients and naviHealth's parent company Optum/UHG. Other duties include designing and implementing Talend ETL solutions, identifying data quality problems, performing data requirements analyses, assisting with data flow, data mapping, and more. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and document Talend ETL processes, technical architecture, data pipelines, and performance scaling using tools to integrate data via Talend and ensure data quality in a big data environment
  • Design, develop, and implement Talend Data Integration and Big-Data processes
  • Design, develop, and implement Talend runtime processes
  • Support and triage ETL processes as necessary
  • Generate requisite support documentation in accordance with guidelines
  • Travel requirements: Occasional, as needed
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested

Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience using Talend Data Integration ETL tool as a developer
  • Experience with Talend DI & BD ETL across multiple database vendors and cloud vendors
  • Experience with Structured Query Languages (SQL) including PL-SQL, T-SQL, and MSQL
  • Working knowledge of Talend runtime including Kafka and API development and Talend components

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400.
