Your Role and ResponsibilitiesKyndryl is looking for leaders who are passionate about helping some of the world's biggest companies to successfully achieve their Data Center Transformation. Do you have experience about the Overall Data Architecture and guiding principles, best practices, and patterns? Do you have strong Consulting experience within the different domains that make up Information Management? Can you break that knowledge down for our clients to show them their opportunities and solve their risks?Our Big Data Architects are leaders. They've gained 7+ years' experience in technology, 5+ years' experience and exposure to multiple industries and organizational functions with respect to their Data needs, challenges and solutions and are ready to make a meaningful impact on our clients. Sometimes that leadership manifests in such deep technical expertise that they can lead and perform hands-on technical development, deploy, and technical designs for projects to achieve client's Information Management needs and to help rescue clients from blocked or difficult projects. Translating client requirements, understanding client's circumstances, and executing project services to support the design and implementation of Information Management solutions, in order to deliver Dashboards, Analytics and data governance solutions. You will use assets and reference architectures, build proof-of concepts, build and execute implementation plans, testing plans and deployment plans to address client requirements and work with products or solutions based on partner hardware and/or partner software. Responsibilities:
  • Review, validate and assess client's requirements, and product's specifications/features.
  • Create the required artifacts (design document, diagrams, ASD, HLD, LLD, etc.)
  • Design Big Data Architecture Solution
  • Work closely with customer and internal teams to gather business and technical requirements.
  • Accountable for successful delivery of highly complex, multi-disciplined consulting engagements that deliver lasting and measurable value to clients
  • Develop a point of view, capture, prioritize and analyze technical (functional and non-functional) requirements
  • Possess strong leadership skills and further the evolution of intellectual capital assets and developing architectural resources
  • Apply Architectural Methods and Techniques.
  • Manage the technical architectural contract terms and conditions
  • Educate, mentor and coach teams in applying architectural techniques
  • Facilitate and capture lessons learned from projects to update methodologies and assets

If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the anticipated compensation range for the position $84,100 to $206,149 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. Technology Experience:
  • Prior experience of at least 2-3 years as a Big Data Architect, and should have been involved in solutioning and implementing enterprise Big Data solutions
  • Very good knowledge on the entire commercial and opensource Big Data ecosystem
  • Deep experience with a variety of big data technologies (HDFS, Hive, Pig, Spark, SQLaaS, Parquet/Avro, Hadoop, etc.)
  • Thought leader expertise within the areas of data analysis, data preparation, and data wrangling, with expert skills in Python and coding complex SQL queries
  • Experience with ETL, Persistence, Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, and Data Quality engineering
  • Some experience with Server Platforms (Windows, Linux, or UNIX)
  • Some experience with commercial and opensource Data management ecosystem.
  • Some experience with Third Party Cloud Infrastructures (Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
  • Some understanding of up-to-date Network architecture concepts and system integration principles including high-end routers / switches, Network & Security, Network Virtualization, Cloud Network Deployments, and other related infrastructure and system components.
  • Some understanding of middleware, networking, application architecture, shared services and other components of n-tier applications.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
  • Applied Azure and/or AWS data analytics engineering and designing skills
