Solution/Release Train Engineer

Location – Hartford, CT (Remote for now)

Duration : FTE Hire

Job Description –We have a strong need for experienced RTE . Please find below the details of the role.Role : Digitalization Member Experience requires a Solution/Release Train Engineer to manage its’ Agile Release Train (ART). This is a high-visibility role that has to perform senior stakeholder management from Product/Business, IT Delivery, Architecture (TAI), Agile Delivery Transformation and so on. The train works with 35+ application teams across HCB IT, Digital, and Business teams, supported by 200+ resources. There are 5 workstreams currently in this train (likely to expand to 9 early next year). SAFe certified RTE® preferred

Responsibilities :
  • Facilitate PI Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process which drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs
  • Facilitate the PI planning event
  • Manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART and Solution Train using various tools (Rally, Miro), such as the Program and Solution Kanban and other information radiators
  • Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs)
  • Summarize Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency
  • Assist tracking the execution of Epics and Features
  • Facilitate periodic synchronization events including the ART syncs
  • Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets
  • Help manage risks and dependencies at a train-level
  • Escalate and track impediments at a train level
  • Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
  • Encourage collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects/Engineering
  • Work with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
  • Understand and operate within Lean Budgets and ensure adherence to Guardrails
  • Facilitate System Demos
  • Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops
