Title: IT Engineer Duration: 12 Months Work Location: Hazelwood, MO Job Description: The successful candidate will under general supervision: Analyze, design, and configure networks for logical separation Manage and document the configuration of the computing system Deploy updates to the development and testing environments as required to represent the customer's environment Design and document processes for maintaining testing and development environments Configure hardware in preparation for the Joint Test Event with the Customer Provide inputs as required for Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) submittals Manage the hardware inventory of the organization including Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Tests system and software as necessary to ensure proper operation Support other Information Technology Engineering tasks as needed Basic Qualifications (Required) Basic understanding of networks Basic understanding of VMs Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Preferred Qualifications Experience configuring and managing networks.
