Job Description Dev./Project Manager SLC, UT Direct Hire

Job Description: The Technical Project Manager is responsible for providing project planning and management for established initiatives within a company. Ensures that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget. Will lead projects through all development phases including specification, design, integration, testing, field trial, and launch. The Technical Project Manager is the lead subject matter expert within the company regarding technology concerns. Will use your industry expertise to improve all aspects of project planning and resource management.

Qualifications
  • 4 years experience in managing software/application development projects
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent technology field
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
  • Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles

Skills / Certifications
  • Formal Agile training
  • Professional Project Management certification or similar
