TITLE: Data Engineer (Clinical EMR)LOCATION: Danbury, CTDURATION: Fulltime w/ClientJOB DESCRIPTION: Client is seeking a Data Engineer with EMR (Clinical System) responsible for the technical implementation of the reporting and analytic tools. Candidate will set and establish data reporting standards, tools, and content. Responsible for the transformation of data from internal and external sources to provide timely, meaningful, and actionable insight to drive organizational improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • The ability to discuss and gather data requirements from multiple categories of stakeholders and translate them into actionable tasks.
  • Experience with advanced analytical and data science models to deliver impactful results
  • Extract, query, transform, visualize, and interpret data multiple platforms
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand business needs/issues, troubleshoot problems, conduct root cause analysis, and develop cost effective resolutions for data anomalies
  • Serves as a team leader within a work group or on cross-functional teams; accepts team lead stretch assignments, acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Presents to broader senior leadership team.
  • Identifying, designing and implementing internal process improvements optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
  • Apply quantitative analysis and data visualization to tell the story behind the numbers all while supporting data-driven decision making. Use technical skills, problem solving and business knowledge to deliver custom datasets to clients that meet or exceed their expectations Implement proactive improvements to processes and methods for gathering and aggregating data. Find creative solutions to problems when limited information is available
  • Participates in continually improving processes and procedures for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of Data Engineering services to analytic users.
  • Experience with data architecture
  • Collaborates with technology and platform management partners to optimize data sourcing and processing rules to ensure appropriate data quality.

Required Skills:
  • Advanced programming experience in SQL database
  • SSIS experience required
  • Tableau experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of EMR systems
  • Applied knowledge of project management delivery, capital and operational budgeting
  • License, Registration, or Certifications:
  • Advanced certification in Tableau preferred
