Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a

Security Engineering, Associate that will serve as a

Cyber Vulnerability Researcher performing reverse engineering on binaries associated with avionics systems while supporting our Federal Government client on-site at the Patuxent River, MD location.

Key Duties
  • Working closely with our government customer, perform cyber vulnerability research on compiled binaries within embedded systems.
  • Working closely with our government customer, perform cyber vulnerability research on compiled binaries within Windows/Linux environments.
  • Performing static and dynamic analysis.
  • Apply and/or develop highly advanced principles, concepts, and tactics. Develops information which extends knowledge within the field.
  • Identify issues and vulnerabilities associated with the development and implementation of operational programs.

Required Qualifications
  • 10 years' of vulnerability research experience, including experience performing binary reverse engineering
  • Experience performing both static and dynamic analysis
  • Experience programming in Python
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment.
  • Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience programming in C, C
  • Master level working knowledge of assembly language
  • Experience performing binary patching is a plus.
  • Experience performing malware analysis is a plus.
  • Experience performing software exploitation is a major plus.

EducationBachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, computer engineering or computer science from an ABET accredited college. A Master’s degree in a related technical discipline may be substituted for five (5) years of experience (e.g. a 10 year experience requirement may be satisfied with a Master’s degree and 5 years of experience).
