Pega Software Engineer III

Job Description:Global Banking and Markets Technology - Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Futures/Options is looking for an experienced Pega developer to lead AML program deliverables.Job Description:Responsible for developing and delivering software requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Code solutions, unit test, and ensure solutions can be integrated successfully into the overall system. Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements. Participates and guide team in estimating work necessary to complete stories/requirements. Develop proof of concepts as necessary to mitigate risk and implement new ideas. Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements. Assist team with resolving technical complexities Help in system performance and stability improvements. Manage system administration functions including contributing to upgrades. Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance). Triage defects and identify underlying causes. Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and functionality. Coach and mentor other team members.Required Skills:

• Should have 6 plus years relevant experience.
• Experience in Pega PRPC -Process Flows, Activities, Harness, Sections, Decision Table, Data transforms, Agent and Reporting.
• Should have PCSA (Pega Certified System Architect) certification.
• Should have hands on experience PRPC lifecycle - design, development, coding, testing and debugging skills in PEGA 8.x.
• Knowledgeable in Estimation, Performance Tuning and Deployment process.
• Experience in adopting Pega applications with CICD tools.
• Strong debugging capabilities.
• Strong skills for interacting with end users.
• Preferred to have experience with distributed teams which span multiple geographies, time zones and cultures.

• Responsible for development using the Pega PRPC or PEGA packaged solutions.
• Technical design for the Pega implementation based on the Business requirements.
• Rule set design and governance to ensure the rule sets are developed appropriately in the respective layers to align with 'enterprise's re-usability' needs
• Perform code reviews and ensure the solution is compliance with Pega guardrails.
• Follow rule set versioning strategy, Branching strategy, release management and deployment processes.
• Provide sizing and estimations.
• Work with the administration and development teams to ensure that designs solutions effectively accommodate long-term maintainability, supportability and scalability.
• Perform code deployments.
• Act as an application manager and ensure the appropriate enterprise compliance requirements are managed.
