Job Description:Are you passionate about working with the best information security team in the world? Bank of America is hiring top talent to join our team. The Cyber Security Defense (CSD) function within Global Information Security is responsible for all aspects of threat intelligence and monitoring, application and network security, and insider threat. In addition, the CSD team drives out the enterprise-wide cyber exercise program. The Global Information Security team is responsible for information security strategy, policy and program. This includes managing and operating a global security operations center and developing, deploying and managing a risk-based controls portfolio. The QA and Resolution Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting the QA and Resolution Manager. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for the thematic analysis and identifying trends for broader resolution as well as being involved in the end to end root cause analysis resulting from incidents, control health assessments and CTI inputs. In addition, the Senior Analyst will build and operationalize the process for QA and resolution providing robust governance and oversight for the function. This role will identify, design and deliver improvements to defense capabilities based on incidents and issues throughout the Bank and translate into program delivery. The Senior Analysts will work in partnership with the QA and Resolution Manager and Leadership Team and based on their insights, experience and creative thinking drive resolution activities. They will work in an environment that is open and collaborative with a global presence.Typical job duties are:

  • Provide oversight and governance for the QA and Resolution program
  • Analyze and identify themes for broader resolution to strength GIS control
  • Analyze incidents to identify root cause, leveraging input from across GIS to identify vulnerabilities and potential risk
  • Generate reports for control managers and security leaders that evaluate the efficacy of security controls
  • Document post incident analysis to contribute to incident response and business continuity process improvements
  • Work with relevant control owners/teams to understand and identify areas for improvement on the identification of and recovery from information security incidents
Skills / Qualifications:Knowledge and experience with information security controls, infrastructure, problem management, risk identification and remediation are key to this role. The role requires extraordinary data analysis and communication, together with a passion for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a new function within the Cyber Security Defense unit and as such offers an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate to demonstrate their skills.
