Cyber Security Manager Position Description This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing team of cyber security engineers as we transform, improve, and expand the security program for one of the largest information technology providers in the world! You will join and manage rapidly growing team of cyber security engineers supporting governance, risk, and compliance consulting services to include security service delivery to Federal government clients. You will collaborate with a variety of technical and management disciplines including infrastructure and security architecture, security operations, application development, project managers, product owners, and others.Your future duties and responsibilities• Administratively lead a team of Cyber Security Engineers who support development of new capabilities and services• Work with technical lead and internal stakeholders to define project goals and milestones in turn creating a process to bring it to fruition. This includes setting and managing client expectations, developing a detailed project plan, defining the scope of the project and assigning team members to specific tasks• Provide status reports and updates for your team to the appropriate Cybersecurity and Solutions Practice leadership as the need arises• Ensure your team members complete time sheets and company required training in a timely manner.• Coordination, management and execution of project/assessment/tasks by the respective members of the team.• Participate in ongoing security-related activities in support of new or existing services.• Coordinate and participate in the preparation of documentation for new and existing services, processes and procedures.• Analyze effectiveness of business activities and operations and whenever necessary propose strategic recommendations to the technical lead.• Assist in assessing and responding to public sector bid solicitations.Required qualifications to be successful in this role• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of experience related to information security, IT infrastructure, architecture, or applications.• Five years of experience delivering consulting services including interaction with executive or senior client management• Hold security certifications (CISSP or other certifications along with or in lieu of the CISSP)• Strong desire to build and design security solutions to include automation, DevSecOps, Zero Trust, Insider Threat, etc.• Experience in information security testing (e.g., penetration testing, vulnerability assessments)• Hands on experience with one or more of the following tools (or comparable tool): Nessus, Burp, ZAP, Fortify, OWASP Dependency Check, Webinspect, AppDetective, etc.• Demonstrated ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment and work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment• Superb communication (written and oral), interpersonal, leadership, and management skills"As a Federal Contractor, all members of CGI Federal, regardless of role or work location are required to be fully vaccinated effective January 18th 2022 under the current policy, and be willing to provide proof of status, with the exception of those with approved medical or religious accommodations".#CGIFederalJob#Dice#LI-RT1
