Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Experienced DevSecOps SW Engineer to join the Autonomous Aviation & Technology (AA&T) team located in Berkeley, MO or Seattle, WA. This position will focus on standing up and maintaining a modern SW development pipeline for Autonomous Systems (AS) programs within Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS).This DevSecOps SW Engineer will focus on implementation and maintenance of AS Program DevSecOps infrastructure. This Engineer will work closely with the Boeing Enterprise DevSecOps team to leverage enterprise DevSecOps developments and tailor as appropriate to the using program. This environment will be expected to enable Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment for the using programs. An objective is to fully integrate 3rd party SW developers into this pipeline. This environment will be used primarily for Mission System cloud native software development, integration, test, and deployment.Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports development and enhancement our DevSecOps operations in multiple Cloud Service environments
  • Perform in the entire software development life cycle of the DevSecOps tool chain
  • Collaborate on idea creation and development of the DevSecOps tool chain
  • Supports the ongoing lifecycle maintenance of the DevSecOps tool chain
  • Support the software quality efforts of our Air Vehicle platform product deliveries to our customers
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires an active SECRET U.S. Security Clearance pre-start. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in software engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 3+ years of direct experience designing and developing software
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Do you have experience with modern DevSecOps or DevOps?
  • Do you have experience developing cloud native applications?
  • Do you have experience integrating Software from 3rd party developers?
Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
