Potential for Remote Work: No Description SAIC is seeking a qualified SharePoint Developer to support the US Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation (AFAMS) program. AFAMS is the premier agency responsible for implementation, integration, and development of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and training and analysis standards that support the US Air Force (USAF), Department of Defense (DoD), and mission partners requiring these capabilities to support the Warfighter in full-spectrum operations. As the lead agent for M&S within the USAF, AFAMS gathers requirements, seeks out potential solutions, and integrates legacy and emerging M&S solutions across the USAF and the DoD. The USAF has an M&S initiative that focuses on providing simulation and synthetic training as the critical capability to augment live training, act as an enabler for critical decision-making, and enhance human performance. In the current resource constrained environment, demand for M&S rises with the continuously evolving need for operational readiness and mission preparedness across the USAF, DoD, and with coalition partners. AFAMS focuses on providing innovative M&S services as the key to meeting this demand. The role of this position is to support the Simulator Common Architecture Requirements and Standards (SCARS) team at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The SharePoint Developer will support the SCARS program by developing, deploying and maintaining a SCARS data repository using Microsoft SharePoint sites. The Knowledge/Collaboration Manager will be responsible for SharePoint website design and deployment including dashboard creation, database applications, reporting and notification capabilities, tracking mechanisms, problem resolution, workflow development, utilization of SharePoint analytics, custom SharePoint Online Webparts. Must have ability to transform customer requirements to useful solutions for the organization and to stay abreast of developing site trends and enhancements to advance site functionality. Must have ability to develop and debug websites outside of a SharePoint platform. Qualifications Required Skills Extensive knowledge of SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online Experience with database design, development and deployment. Extensive experience with SharePoint website design and deployment including dashboard creation, tracking mechanisms, problem resolution, workflow development, utilization of SharePoint analytics, custom SharePoint Online Webparts. Experience with Microsoft Flow, Power Suite, Power BI, Power Apps and Office 365. Experience with HTML, as well as development tools, including Java Script and Boot Strap, Jquery, Angular Ability to merge different acquisition data sets and make recommendations to the Gov on the best data repository structure within SharePoint. Required Certification IAT-2 Desired Skills Project Management experience including metrics collection and analysis, process improvement software lifecycle management, Experience working in an Air Force or DoD environment. Required Education and Experience Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience COVID Policy: Prospective and/or new employees are required to adhere with SAIC's vaccination policy.
