This employer is in the banking/finance industry and is a technology and data-driven financial services company.Successful candidates excel at and enjoy:- Designing and developing data applications using selected tools and frameworks as required and requested.
- Reading, extracting, transforming, staging, and loading data to selected tools and frameworks as required and requested.
- Performing tasks such as writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, writing SQL queries, etc.
- Working closely with the engineering team to integrate your work into our production systems.
- Processing unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis.
- Analyzing processed data.
- Maintaining data pipeline.
Your previous experience includes:- 5+ years experience in related field including experience with transformational efforts
- In-depth knowledge of Modern Data Platforms (Tech Stacks, Spark, Hive, Presto, Elk).
- Experience with Data modeling, Big Data, Data Warehousing, Data Service.
- Advanced proficiency with NoSQL and RDBMS databases, AWS Cloud Services
- Previous experience with Hadoop Stack, Kafka, Airflow, NiFi, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, JSON, Parquet, Avro and other Data Storage formats, Tableau, visualization tools, Apache Atlas, and other Data-centric Apache Packages
