A company in the Philadelphia area is looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer to join their growing Infrastructure team. They are looking for an Engineer who can assist with upcoming project as well as support the backend network. You will be working in majority Cisco data centers and working on layer 2 and 3 routers and switches. They are currently in the process of upgrading data centers to a more modern architecture so you will be playing a key part in this upgrade. They are currently working with Cisco ACI for SDWAN and migrating legacy systems to SDWAN. There are also smaller projects on the docket including a wifi upgrade and firewall upgrades. They need someone who is a self starter and doesn't need to be hand held through projects. You will be a part of a larger team and working in an enterprise environment. This team works very well together so they want someone who can jump in and be comfortable asking questions. This really need someone with a solid network background who understand the impact the network has on the total infrastructure. This is an ongoing contract position. Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ Years' Network Expertise
- Strong Cisco Experience
- Cisco Switches, Catalyst, Nexus
- Cisco Routers
- Routing Protocols, BGP, EIGRP
- Strong Data Center Project Experience
- Firewall Experience, ASA, Palo Alto
- Cisco Wireless Expertise
- Strong Project Based Experience, upgrades migrations
- SDWAN Exposure, Cisco ACI, Viptella
- CCNA, CCNP, CCDA Certifications
- F5 Load Balancing Experience
- 90% Cisco Networking Technologies
- 10% Other Network Brands
- 60% Project Based Experience
- 40% Day to Day Engineering
