  • Looking for a leader and driver to own the value delivery for value streams and two or more product development scrum teams.
  • This individual will be associated with the Finance program at SVB to enable transformation and growth. Responsibilities include alignment with business stakeholders, partnering with cross-functional partners, and owning technical execution/successful value delivery. Applying agile and lean principles, following scrum practices, coaching/training team members on Agile methodology, and continuous improvement to build high performing teams are a key aspect of the role.
The Basics:
  • - Expert at Project Management
  • - PMP, PSM/CSM, CSPO, Lean, Kanban. Strong execution drive and technical aptitude to deliver customer value
  • - Lead cross functional development from design through delivery
  • - Builds great partnerships and relationships with globally distributed cross-functional partners (e.g. Business, Product, Technology, Design, Architecture, Legal, Compliance, et al.)
  • - Possesses excellent inter-personal skills with amazing written/verbal communication skills
  • - Customer centric with innovative problem solving skills
  • - Extremely organized, Goal oriented, and experienced in Data analytics as well as Financial budget/Accounting (CapEx/OpEx) principles
  • Education and Experience:
  • - Bachelor's Degree [Technology preferred]
  • - 5+ years of experience serving as Project Manager/Scrum Master in planning and delivering software solutions, such as online and mobile user experiences, underlying transactional systems, and integrating disparate systems Certifications [preferred]
  • - PMI, PMI-ACP - Certified Scrum Master (CSM)/ Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • - Certified Scrum Product Owner Knowledge [preferred]
  • - Knowledgeable in Finance functions - Treasury, Accounting, Reg/SEC reporting, Procurement
  • - Knowledgeable in Finance systems (SaaS) - AxiomSL, Blackline, Calypso, Oracle/SAP
  • - Knowledgeable in banking audit and regulatory practices; ensuring fully compliant with corporate standards
Responsibilities:
  • - Leads the software development planning and delivery process
  • - Provides servant leadership and building multiple high-performing Agile scrum teams
  • - Bring transparency to Business, Product and Technology organization about development and grow trust
  • - Leverages tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence) to elicit and define business and technical requirements, track requirements, prioritize features, curate content, sequence deliverables into sprints, and report progress
  • - Good problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to coach and mentor all roles on a development scrum team Competencies

  • - Facilitative: Must be able to lead by example and demonstrate value-add principles to product development scrum team(s)
  • - Assertive: Experience with working teams in adhering to Agile/Scrum/Lean concepts and principles
  • - Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around her/him
