Provide forward-thinking, industry perspective and understand the changing business needs, and discover new capabilities, services, and tools to enable them. Manage and own the lifecycle of the services reporting to them including definition, execution, governance and resource strategy for security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) and business process management.

Responsibilities:• Plan, direct, and oversee security automation daily operations, ensuring targets, service level agreements, and operational level agreements are being met• Develop Information Security Programs and recommend necessary changes to the Information Security team to ensure automation and orchestration maximize team talent and reduce routine tasks• Partner with Information Security Senior Leadership, Managers, Partners, and CISO to develop the long-term strategic direction and roadmap• Serve as the advocate and champion for the automation and business process management and drives alignment and buy-in within Security and across the organization• Drive industry benchmarking regarding the evolution of automation, including measuring goals against performance, continuous improvement, and potential use of industry-leading vendors• Lead security-related projects from inception to successful completion and is capable of effectively coaching technology staff on appropriate security protocols and needs as they implement new technology into the organization• Bring external perspective and ideas from relevant sources, keep current with technology, government/policy impacts and industry best practices of the security industry threat landscape• Manage service budget and project portfolio• Evaluate the performance and trends of assigned services to customers, including defined KPIs and SLAs and ensure service levels are achieved in line with SLAs and SLOs• Develop workforce strategy and resource plan (skills, competencies, team size) for team• Coordinate the development of governance, methodologies, and procedures to improve and create rapid and reusable Automation Center of Excellence Business Process Management and Robotic Process Automation solutions• Oversee the integration of solutions with existing applications; identify and resolve existing conflicts to ensure compatibility• Communicate technical and functional requirements using an effective, efficient, and creative approach with a high degree of collaboration and influence• Accountable for all technical solution delivery on initiatives, including scope negotiation, solution alignment and timeline management• Perform quality control reviews to assess the integrity and quality of proposed technical solutions• Contribute to a culture of collaboration by actively working across business lines, communicating knowledge and business processes to other business units• Ensure security automations meet business and technical requirements, are maintainable, scalable, and meet performance standards• Strategically analyze opportunities and problems from a broad perspective in relation to achieving business objectives• Perform supervisory/managerial responsibilities o Ensure adequate/skilled staffing; select employees o Establish performance goals and priorities o Prepare, conduct and review performance appraisals o Develop, mentor and counsel staff o Provide input and/or prepare budget requirements for Annual Financial Plan (AFP) o Ensure section/branch goals and objectives align with division/department strategy o Ensure efficiency of operations o Leadership Level - Supervise daily activities• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or experience• Extensive experience working in Information Security and/or Information Services managing in a cloud environment, preferably at a large financial services organization• Experience with agile project management processes and methodologies• Experience with one or more SOAR vendor platforms (ServiceNow SecOps, Phantom, and Demisto)• Extensive experience in leading, guiding, and coaching professional staff• Extensive experience in technical resource allocation and management• Experience in managing personnel and information security resources• Advanced verbal and written communication skills• Advanced skill interacting with staff, management, vendors, and members diplomatically and tactfully• Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills• Effective in producing desired results and achieving goals and objectives• Significant experience in working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors• Advanced skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely• Effective skill relationship building, negotiation, and facilitation skills• Experience in developing high performing teams• Significant experience in deploying solutions/applications such as on premise and cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon, etc.)• Extensive experience in application analysis and design engineering functions• Significant experience in establishing operational performance metrics and driving continuous efficiencies and improvements for systems, processes, and resources• Expert skill in project management to include establishing and leading project teams; managing timelines/deadlines/resources; ensuring successful project implementation• Expert skill applying innovative approaches to solve technical design issues• Expert skill identifying patterns of software quality and reusability• Expert skill identifying and analyzing business requirements and recommending solutions• Expert skill to effectively drive business, culture, and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment

Desired Qualifications and Education Requirements:• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field• Leadership experience rolling out enterprise SOAR tools (ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps))• Experience with SIEM, Case Management, and Threat Intelligence solutions and technologies • Working knowledge of Navy Federal products, services, programs, policies, and procedures• CISM, CISSP, or other professional Security Certification

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

You are paid within the salary range, based on your experience, location and market position.
