Senior Operations Engineer/Windows Job Description Our client is an established 20-year enterprise integration company that provides an API integration Saas Platform to more than half of the Fortune 100 companies. They revitalize heritage IT infrastructures to enable brilliant digital customer experiences, unlock new business innovation and capabilities, and put companies on a secure, future-proof path for growth. This team supports the Syncplicity product which is a shared document drive SAAS product. It's on-prem footprint is living inside Windows servers while the cloud portion is hosted within AWS. 5 of the soon to be 6 teammates are primarily Linux however they are looking for someone who will be the Windows SME. They recently have begun utilizing Azure and already have a large presence in AWS. The team's main initiative is to automate anything and everything. Anything that they can utilize the cloud they will. The cool thing about this position is you're coming in as a Windows System Engineer that will get hands on exposure to AWS and Azure DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines. The environment is already very mature - you will be the SME for Windows servers and be the go-to for PowerShell, AD and server trouble shooting. Required Skills & Experience

  • 5-10+ years of Windows administration
  • Knowledge of AWS and related services
  • Experience in building hybrid data centers (AWS/Bare Metal)
  • Knowledge of building CI/CD pipelines
  • Scripting with Powershell
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix
  • Knowledge of micro services and Docker containerization.
  • Knowledge of a monitoring tool
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Chef, Terraform or Ansible.
  • Good understanding of Networking (TCP/IP, Interfaces, Routing).
  • Willing and able to obtain a US Government 'Public Trust' Clearance
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as bash, groovy, python, etc.
  • Azure knowledge
