Job DetailsOur entire application is housed in AWS and we're looking for a DevOps engineer to take control of our instances and functions. Also, we're a small engineering team of 2, in a 150 person company! We have plans on growing our engineering team to 15 in total, w/ more support on the DevOps and infrastructure side. Point is, this is a great time to get into a well-funded company, that is growing, and has revenue. If you're ambitious, this is the company for you! Responsibilities- Configure and manage production and testing environments via Aptible
- Build CI/CD pipelines for server and client components (mobile/web) for the development team
- Ensure security at the system level by applying best security practices; guide the team through compliance certification efforts (e.g HIPAA)
- Define and implement system monitoring and alerting strategies
- In collaboration with the engineering team, research, recommend and implement additional systems and services
You should have some of the following:- Experience with Aptible and Aptible CLI
- Strong experience with shell scripting in a Linux environment. Experience with MacOs.
- Web and mobile applications architecture
- Building CI/CD pipelines for Javascript components
- Tools such as npm, yarn
