As the Application Engineer, you will integrate automation systems into the customer's warehouse management systems. This will include effectively communicating the details of a complex software system to a variety of audiences. Some traveling to customer sites for installation and integration of warehouse automation products, and interacting with all levels of customer, including Sr. Management and front-line warehouse associates. Required Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a Linux based environment
- Database knowledge testing and support SQL
- Knowledge of Networking and TCP socket communication
- Ability to Understand, Interpret and Communicate using an API
- Experience with common programming languages: Python, JavaScript, C#
- Strong interpersonal skills relating to the needs and wants of a customer
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effectively use SDK (Software Development Kits) for System Design and Simulations
- Experience in warehouse automation or logistics industry
- 10% python programing
- 50% client interaction
- Networking/testing/integration
- 25% travel nationally
- Competitive Salary: Up to $90,000/year, DOE
