Our client located in the heart of Chicago's bustling Loop neighborhood, is looking for a supremely talented Backend Java Engineer to help transform the logistics industry move to the cloud as well build out platforms using the latest technologies including Scala and Kotlin. This Engineer will be part of the development team that partners with the product team to combat any problems customers are having. This engineer will be self- driven, capable of finding answers to the toughest questions as well be able to rapidly learn the newest technologies. This is a rare opportunity to transform an entire industry. Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of professional Java or JavaScript development experience
- 3+ years using the spring framework
- Previous experience with Scala and Kotlin
- Willingness to work in a Full Stack environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science required.
