TCI has an immediate need for a
Dev/Ops Engineer in Washington, DC. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity.Please note that this position requires US Citizenship and a Public Trust Security Clearance prior to start.LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY for local/remote hybrid schedule. Must be available to go on-site for meetings as necessary.SUMMARYThe Dev/Ops Engineer will support our government client and will be responsible for providing ongoing support to the Client Business Solutions team. Duties include troubleshooting and resolution for day-to-day issues, code promotion, trouble ticket and ISSM incidents resolution.RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvement optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for Client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues.
- Consult with client to define needs or challenges.
- Leading surveys and performing data collection for analysis used to advise and recommend/suggest solutions.
- Provides technical assistance and advice on complex activities.
- Formulates / defines specifications, develops / modifies / maintains complex systems and subsystems, using vendor engineering releases and utilities for overall operational systems.
- Develops complete specifications to enable programmers to prepare required programs.
- Reviews Task proposal requirements, gathers information, analyzes data, and prepares project synopses.
- Provide Administrative support for Windows Servers/SharePoint Sites/Active Directory Management. Responsible for Addresses search and indexing Issues, and addresses site access issues.
- Provide support for ongoing development of websites, creation of new ones from concept all the way to completion.
- Provides support for external Client hosted sites.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in a professional capacity.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- Must be proficient with ASP.NET, SQL Server, and Application Development.
- Understand APIs and web services for consuming JSON.
- Competent in Microsoft PowerShell 5.0 or higher.
- Experience Designing, Developing, building Blue Share SharePoint farms, SharePoint Migrations of content/sites.
- Understanding of user interface best practices and standards.
- Familiarity with development and debugging tools.
- Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance prior to start.
- Compliance with Covid Vaccination Mandate is required.
