Senior Java Engineer / 100% Remote / Spring / AWS

One of the largest media and entertainment companies is urgently hiring a Senior Java Engineer to work on a vital platform! You will be responsible for building AWS cloud services and shared APIs that enable other developers to deploy their apps. You'll be working on a platform that sees millions of transactions a day. They are looking for someone with professional experience using Java (8 or higher), Spring Boot, microservices, and AWS. They are also willing to teach Golang or bring on a Java engineer with some familiarity with Go. This stable role is a long term contract with room for extension or conversion to full time, and comes with W2 benefits. 100% Remote! Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years' developing web applications utilizing Java8+
• 3+ years' experience with Spring tools such as Spring Boot
• 3+ years of experience with AWS
• Microservice architecture experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science/related field or equivalent experience, a plus

• Competitive Pay: Up to $90/hour, DOE
• 1 year contract with extension or conversion
