Python Application EngineerThis opportunity is to support our premier Financial Client in a Sybase Environment restoration project. Role requirements include:

  • Expert in python or Above Proficient Levels programming in Python. Experience with python web service frameworks, such as Flask or Django.
  • Experience using Docker in Linux environments. Plus, not required
  • Good knowledge of testing methodologies. Can write unit tests for unfamiliar code, analyze code coverage, and analyze failing test cases.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks, such as Jenkins or Gitlab CI/CD, is plus.
  • Basic Linux tooling and administration a big plus: package installation and tooling, shell scripting, managing file systems.
  • Ansible knowledge is must
  • Working Knowledge of Sybase is really recommended. Good Understanding of a RDMB technology is required.
  • Some kind of Coding Test will be required to clear the interview. Please note this will be a one round, 3 hour interview.
