Every day, our employees do the cant be done, solving the most daunting challenges facing our customers. Responsibilities Support ARCYBER Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Engineering Team. SME level expertise in both tools and application, and their integration and utility within operations.Tasks include: maintain the list of tools and capabilities available to the CDOC, confirming tool capabiliites at regular periodicity, recommending tools no longer suitable, write and maintain a comprehensive capabilities document, periodically re-confirming that all capabilities are performing the appropriate role and recommending solutions for capabilities no longer suitable, identify scripting and automation technologies to increase efficiency, engage capability developers within ARCYBER, the Army, and other DoD and non-DoD entities.Conducts research and evaluates technical performance of software products and overall segments and systems. Ensures systems comply with requirements and IA standards. Verifies/validates systems with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to information networks. Participates in design reviews to ensure applicability to the current system and requirements traceability. Produces papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for the government. Mentors mid-level and junior staff.Provides feedback to design engineers and evaluates end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle. Working as expert, conducts research and evaluates technical performance of software products and overall segments and systems. Ensures products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods. Verifies/validates systems with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to information networks. Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Prepares assessments and cyber threat profiles of current and planned products based on sophisticated testing, research, and analysis. Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements. Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they verify/validate the requirements. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements. Produces high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officials. Qualifications Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D.Will consider: Edu/Exp: HS 16+ Years, BA/BS 10+ Years, or MA/MS 8+ Years.Experience Required:Expert in Cyber Warfare techniques, methods, and processes. Experience detecting, monitoring, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats. Familiarity with CJCSM 6510.01BCertifications Required:Requires DoD 8570 IAT Level II. Certification must be added to ATCTS before starting in position. Desired: CSSP-Infrastructure SupportClearance Required:Requires TS/SCI with CI Polygraph and MEAD.Work is in Fortitude Hall, Fort Gordon, GAEngineer team maintains an 8x5 capability, with the ability to surge for on-demand hours as necessary. For Colorado Residents Colorado Salary Minimum: $113,651.20 Colorado Salary Maximum:$242,944.00 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
