Director of Design/Player Coach/100% Remote

This growing SaaS company is hiring a Director of Design to build out the design practice. You will be working on an existing product platform with the Product team, Engineering, and the current 2 UX designers on the team. You will mentor these designers, build and evolve the design system and establish a UX process for the team. This is leadership but still hands on, doing end-to-end UX design and reporting to the VP of Product. This product is a recruiting platform, specific for finding executives and C-level employees at companies across the world. The office is headquartered in New Jersey across the bridge from Philadelphia, the team is primarily east coast based but open to anyone with a good personality and strong skillset. Required Skills & Experience

• 5-8+ years of Product Design experience, UX, User Experience Design, CX
• 1-2+ years of Leadership experience, mentoring junior designers, code reviews, recruiting new team members
• Strong design system knowledge and able to develop and maintain a system
• Able to work with product and engineering teams closely
• Strong design experience on SaaS products
• Web and Mobile Application design
• Portfolio showcasing recent work, case studies, design assets and process etc.
• Fluent in Figma
• Strong collaboration and project management skills

• Degree in design, technology, similar
• Local to New Jersey or the East Coast is preferred
• Capable of handling multiple projects at once
