DevOps Engineer

This company is constantly innovating, building on our best-in-class imaging device, expanding into cloud-based imaging platforms, robotic guided imaging, intraoperative computed tomography, and telemedical solutions. They have raised $17.M to date from prominent Med-Tech investors, venture capital firms, and renowned orthopedic surgeons. This company is searching for a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and oversee our organization's developer tool chains and integration and production environments. Our services platform connects our hardware medical devices, medical software processing, and front end tele-medicine and portal applications. We are looking for a seasoned and passionate engineer with in-depth skills in public cloud and DevOps technologies. The candidate will create a dev ops solution to support our developers and platform architecture that includes continuous integration, continuous deployment, automated testing, source control, environment monitoring, and authentication. We are looking for candidates that are comfortable with providing technology guidance, strategy, and deciding on best practices for our flagship platform. • The candidate will create a dev ops solution to support our developers and platform architecture that includes continuous integration, continuous deployment, automated testing, source control, environment monitoring, and authentication
• Design and implement a DevOps and production environment solution
• Provide hands-on cloud admin, DevOps, SRE, and back end development services
• Serve as subject matter expert in cloud and DevOps technology
• Recommend improvements to technology and processes that increase the effectiveness of the team
• Collaborate with the front-end client teams to provide back-end services
• Consult on the logical and technical architecture for the platform
• Evaluate new and existing technologies and methodologies
• Creates proof of concepts to determine the viability of new or different technologies
• Facilitate collaborative design discussions and drive design reviews

• BS/MS in Computer Science related field or equivalent related professional experience
• 3 years of software engineering experience
• 2 years of DevOps or cloud solutions architecture experience
• Proven hands-on experience with architecting, deploying, and monitoring development and production environments
• Subject matter expertise in DevOps tools and methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think from first principles
• Desire to operate with freedom and accountability
