We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician l for a full-time position. Job Summary: We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician l for a Full-Time position. This role is primarily responsible for imaging and deploying workstations in an Enterprise environment. Travel may be required to various locations throughout the United States to deploy workstations. We are looking for an entry level and highly motivated individual for this role. This is an Enterprise Operations Support role, as such it will require a commitment on your part as well as ours. Essential Functions: Some of the primary responsibilities of this role would include:
- Imaging and deploying workstations using SCCM as the deployment tool
- Remote and desk side computer support for deployed workstations
- Owning, tracking, and resolving Information Technology (IT) incidents and requests for imaged and deployed workstations using Remedy Ticketing System.
- Inventory Tracking
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 6 Months to 1+ years of experience
- Enterprise call center, help desk, service desk, desktop support operations experience
- Configuring, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining MS Windows operating systems
- CompTIA A+ Certification - preferred
- Microsoft Certification (e.g. MCTA, MCSA, MSCE, MCSM, etc.) preferred
- Apple Support Certification preferred
- Active listening skills and effective communication strategies
- Critical thinking skills
- Enterprise ticketing application experience - Remedy Service Management experience preferred.
- Installation and maintenance of Windows OS
- Installation and maintenance of Apple preferred
- Installation/updating of desktop software
- Remote desktop connections
