Lead Roku or Android STE/SDET

Job Description We're currently working with one of the largest companies in the entertainment industry, and they provide a Free TV Streaming service with millions of monthly users. They specialize in select web-series content partnering with some of Viacom's other mediums such as Paramount Pictures, MTV, etc. They are looking to bring on 2 Lead SDETs to their Consumer Devices Native Applications team, specifically working on the automation for their OTT Streaming applications across Android/Amazon, and Roku product teams. Requirements for this role will be Java based automation with Selenium and Appium and TestNG, as well as they must have experience with OTT Streaming on Connected Devices for their specific product team. Required Skills & Experience

• Native applications / OTT Platforms functional testing experience
• Formal testing experience from planning to execution
• Automation experience using Java frameworks
• People Leadership experience
• Project Leadership experience
• 3+ years experience of leading engineers working with on-site and offshore teams
• 3+ years of testing experience on OTT platforms (preferably Roku)
• 2+ years experience leading testing activities
• 3+ years of experience as a test engineer within an Agile environment
• 3+ years of Functional Testing on Native Apps, OTT (Over-the-top), web platforms, a BIG plus.
• 3+ years Hands-on experience with developing automated functional tests
• Experience in Video Content Delivery Experience, a big plus
• Exposure to Agile Management tools such as Jira, a plus.
• Mentoring of team members on the following competencies:
• Test Automation and STE Test Automation Standards.
• Use of STE Unified Test Framework.
• Application behavior and testing techniques.
• Test coverage for application(s) supported.
• Efficient testing strategies.
