Container Automation Engineer

• 5+ years of engineering experience/exposure in automation such as puppet or ansible, virtualization with VMware and KVM with subject matter expertise in containerization using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Architecture and development in automation tools and scripts.
• Ability provide solutions and effectively prioritize, develop, and execute multiple projects in an Agile environment.

• Implementations in AWS public cloud, on-prem private cloud technologies and/or hybrid cloud environments.
• EKS experience in AWS and/or on-prem
• Experience with awscli or Python
• Ability to build APIs to automate infrastructure tasks - IaaS
• Technical leadership and mentoring to junior administrators.

• In the first 90 days - research and build an understanding of our products and systems
• Beyond 90 days - effectively develop and deliver on infrastructure programs and projects working with team members, maintaining our Change Control, documentation and security standards.
• Collaborate with our Digital Transformation journey, as we move our legacy infrastructure from bare metal servers to Containers.
• Get us in a more "Cloud Ready" state, as we move to a "Infrastructure as code" model.
